Men's prelims
Once again there was a lot of flushing going on yesterday in the men's prelims but also some really impressive rides, particularly from Stephen Wright
who threw a couple of huge aerial McNasties/pistol flips and Peter Csonka who powered back onto the wave after it looked like he was off, he scored just a few more points than Stephen to take 1st place.
EJ's run plan looked risky - straight into flip turns and helixes, but obviously paid off as he took 3rd.
Ed Smith was pretty pleased to have just squeezed into the cut off in 2oth place after he thought he'd be out after some flushy rides.
Entertainment was laid on last night in the form of a big air contest and the always amusing King of the Wave which resulted in carnage, face-hits and mild violence to fight to be the one on the wave when the buzzer went.
Big air loops got the biggest cheers in the big air contest.
Men's prelims are on now and all semis are up later.
